18.12.16 yhteenvetoa vuodesta 2016 - summary of 2016
Voi, vuosi on taas kulunut niin nopeasti! Paljon on tapahtunut, niin koirarintamalla kuin muutenkin. Pentuja emme omalle kennelnimellemme yrityksestä huolimatta saaneet tänä vuonna. Toivottavasti ihan pian, ensi alkuvuonna saamme paikattua tämän puutteen :)
Näyttelyissä on käyty kuluvana vuonna aktiivisesti aika monen kasvatin toimesta, kiitos Teille! Hienoa ja jopa huippumenestystä on tullut. Vuoden Kultadoggikilpailussa Viola eli Blaaholms Rubin nuoresta iästään huolimatta ylsi hienosti Suomen toiseksi parhaaksi keltaiseksi nartuksi, ja sijalle seitsemän kaikki värimuunnokset ja molemmat sukupuolet huomioiden. Sijalla 16 on tänä vuonna huikeaa menestystä sekä Suomessa että naapurimaissa niittänyt Hugo eli Alder Glade`s Endure, neljänneksi paras keltatiikeriryhmän uros tänä vuonna Suomessa ja mm. Erikoisnäyttelyn paras uros.
Tärkeintä silti on jokaisen kasvattimme hyvinvointi ja hyvä hoito. Eli suuret kiitoksemme yhteydenpidosta, kuvista ja kuulumisista jokaiselle omistajalle! Kiitos teille, jotka olette tutkituttaneet koirienne terveyttä ja osallistuneet terveystutkimuksiin ja geenikartoituksiin.
Börje eli Alder Glade`s Alonso tuotti kuluvana vuonna kaksi pentuetta, ja toisesta Suomeen saapui urospentu. Smalltall`s Heart Melt tulee toivottavasti jatkamaan isänsä tassunjäljillä. Kiitos yhteistyökasvattajille sekä Suomeen, Tanskaan että Norjaan. On ollut onni ja ilo tehdä töitä tanskandoggien eteen kanssanne.
HYVÄÄ JOULUA JA ANTOISAA ONNELLISTA VUOTTA 2017 KAIKILLE !
A lot of good has happened during 2016, but kennel Alder Glade`s didn`t manage to get a litter. Hopefully in early 2017 we will :)
In Great Dane of the Year 2016 competition Blaaholms Rubin ended up as a second best fawn bitch in Finland, which is almost unbelievable when thinking of her young age. She was placed 7th of all colours and sexs of Great Danes in Finland. Very well done! Alder Glade`s Endure received many champion titles during this year and also was the best male in Speciality show of finnish Great Dane Club. In Great Dane of the year competition he was 4th best male of all fawn and brindle males in Finland and placed number 16th of all colours and both sexs.
The most important thing anyway is wellness and taking care of every our breedings. Thank you owners! Thanks for pics and news what you`ve been sending and phoning. We`re thankful. Special thanks to you who have participated on health - and generesearches.
Thank you of excellent breeder co-operation in Finland, Denmark and Norway. It has been a pleasure to meet also new contacts and of course continue with old ones.

Lennartin sydän todettiin olevan erinomaisessa kunnossa ja kaikin puolin terve virallisessa dopplerultrassa ja EKG:ssa. Hienoa! Sydänkuuntelussa kuului hento sivuääni, joka ultrassa todettiin merkityksettömäksi fysiologiseksi resonaatioääneksi.
Alder Glade`s Luisfigo was heart checked. Ultrasound and ECG approved healthy heart (of gold ;) :)

It was a quick but nice day visit in Denmark. I met Viola`s lovely and funny dad Arthur and sister Ella (and their owner Maibritt - thank you for your help from and back to the airport :) ) and visited at kennel Maxidan to have a lovely little babydane with me to Finland. My warmest thanks to Winnie who let us have this magical sweet boy: Maxidan`s Abracadabra =) He will be owned with lots of love by kennel Alder Glade`s and Mappe Mettälä.

Molemmissa näyttelyissä Viola oli hienosti ROP-pentu ja kaikkien rotujen pentunäyttelyssä voitti ryhmän. Tästä on mukava jatkaa junioriluokkaan.
Viola was BOB-puppy in both shows and again the winner in group final of the all breed puppy show, wow!

Viola became group winner and finally 2nd best in show among of more than five hundred puppies in Helsinki all breed puppy show!

Official health examination results of Alder Glade`s Ettan are hips the best A, elbows the best 0, heart (auscultation, echo and ECG) all healthy and also is spine X-ray. We are happy!
